MISSION & HISTORY.
We began our journey as a charity in 1994. A number of returned volunteers gathered in Fermoy where a fundraising concert had been arranged in The Grand Hotel. The main raffle prize that night was the legendary Paul Mc Grath’s World Cup football kit. Initially the goal of FOC was to be a support group to assist the wonderful humanitarian work being carried out in Kolkata. From this simple beginning today we have grown to funding 4 schools and since 1996 thousands of students have been educated.

Our Mission remains today as it was in 1994, to assist the most marginalised to realise their full potential.

We are indebted to our NGO Partner Tangra FOC as well as our magnificent staff in West Bengal, many of whom have been with us for 20 years+. Through their great efforts as well as the in-depth talents of our students we feel confident that the very best days are to come.
